Jay Andrew Warner, 37, of Rison, passed away on July 29, 2022. He was born on January 15, 1985, in Tulsa, Okla., to Mark Morton and Jayna Lyn (Prevett) Warner. Jay was preceded in death by his grandparents, Morton Allen Warner, Beverly Grace Warner, Jacob Charles Prevett and Patricia Jean Brandt; and special gift; Kolbe Warner. Jay received his Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas-Little Rock. He was a Licensed Master Social Worker and worked eight years at the Arkansas State Hospital, two years at Rivendell Behavioral Health Service, three years at Varner Maximum Security Unit in Jefferson County. In his profession, he helped people no one else would help. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Jay enjoyed fishing, board games, loved Holidays, especially the fourth of July and decorating for Christmas. He loved giving presents to his parents, brother, sister, nieces, and nephews. Survivors include his parents, Mark Morton and Jayna Lyn Warner; brother, Trae Evan Warner (Stephanie); sister, Kara Jean Williams (John Paul); nieces, Hannah Williams, Miley Williams, Wrigley Williams; nephews, Magnus Warner, Charleston Williams, Atticus Warner; best friends, Jerry White, Trumeka Gardner, and mini dachshund, Money. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, with Father Luke Womack officiating. A Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Monday, August 1, 2022, in the chapel of Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home, 6700 Alcoa Road. (501) 315-0700. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Woodland Memorial Park, 1200 N. Cleveland, Sand Springs, Okla.
