SANDRA ALFORD DOLLARHIDE, 78, of Sherwood, Ark., passed away Wednesday, July 27. She was the widow of the late Pat Dollarhide, Jr. A 1961 graduate of the Baptist School of Nursing, Sandy worked at the Baptist Hospital in Little Rock for 49 years. Diagnosed with cancer in 1985, she was a three-time survivor of different types of cancer. Over the years, she actively participated in the cancer benefits and activities. Her family was the central point of her life. She kept a calendar of coming events that her grandchildren and great-grandchildren would be in and never missed one. Survivors: son, Chris (Christine) Dollarhide of Sherwood; daughter, Shannon (David) Roberts of Jacksonville; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Ronald Alford of Mishawaka, Ind., Bill Alford of South Bend, Ind.
