On Thursday, April 28, 2022, the Lord released Pauline Estes of all her earthly bonds and called her to be home to be with Him in Heaven. She was 92 years old.
Pauline was born in Blackburn, Ark. She worked as an accountant for Arkansas Best Corp. until she retired. She loved working in politics (local, state and federal). Pauline was a yellow dog democrat to the very end. She attended Buckner Baptist Church. She loved her family.
Her passing hurts her family and friends, but we know she is happy to be with the Lord and Harley now. We are all happy for her.
Pauline is survived by her children: son, Rocky Slavens and his wife, Terri, son, Jimmy Slavens, and her daughter, Donna Bridger and husband, Andy; stepson, Kirk Estes and wife, Regina; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren; and one special friend, Betty Gullige.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Beard's Chapel. Interment will follow in Buckner Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service-time at the funeral home on Tuesday.
