William Allen Henderson

William Allen Henderson, 59, of Springdale, Ark., died April 29, 2022, at home. He was born October 20, 1962, in Springdale, Arkansas, to Lester Bernie Henderson and Georgia Mae (Self) Brown. He grew up in Newton County in Shiloh, Arkansas, and later met his wife of 40 years, Claudia Mitchell. Bill worked at Tyson Foods for 35 years doing poultry processing maintenance and loved being outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing, gardening, pitching horseshoes, or working on vehicles. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester, and Georgia; brother, Roy Henderson; stepfather, Marion Brown. Survivors include his wife, Claudia of the home; daughter, Amy Mathews and husband Troy of Nob Hill, Arkansas; sons, Thomas Henderson and wife Amber of Nob Hill, Arkansas, Justin Henderson and wife Jenny of Cave Springs, Arkansas; brothers; Delbert and Jeffery Taylor; sister, Nancy Aufleger; six grandchildren, Mikyla Mathews, Kerwyn Mathews, Teagan Mathews, Zac Pugh, Noah Pugh, and Rayden Henderson; uncle and aunt, Roy and Reba Self of Shiloh, Arkansas, and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be 6 p.m., Monday, May 9, 2022, at Sonora Baptist Church in Springdale, Arkansas, with brother Danny Williams officiating.
