Donna Hatcher Franklin

Donna Hatcher Franklin, 69, of Hindsville, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022. She was born in Huntsville, Arkansas, to Dwight L. (Bill) and Norma G. Hineline Hatcher and attended schools in Fayetteville. After graduating from the University of Arkansas in 1975 she was employed as a Tax Accountant for Conoco in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Her entire career was with Conoco as it morphed through many changes. Over the years she held several managerial positions, advancing to Assistant Controller in 2002, and lived in many different cities including London, England. Since travel was an integral part of the job, she was able to experience life in many countries. After retiring in 2008 she returned to the family farm in Hindsville, Arkansas, where she was able to renew her passion for horses and spend time with family and friends. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Dwight F. Hatcher; and one step-daughter, Elizabeth Irby. Survivors include her husband, Jerl, of the home; two sons, Brian Stansell and family of Houston; and Jonathan Franklin, of Fayetteville; her step-daughter, Carolyn Schader and family of Spring, Texas; and her sister, Cynthia LeBow, of Denison, Texas. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
