Melvin L. Buddenberg

Melvin L. Buddenberg, 88, of North Little Rock, Ark., passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022. He was born to the late Leroy Buddenberg and Verdna Johnson on May 4, 1934, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Melvin worked for the Union Pacific Railroad as an electrician for over 40 years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, where he served as Sergeant during the Korean War. Melvin was an avid golfer and a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. During his final years, he loved to watch the birds, which brought him great joy. Melvin was also an active member of Levy Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughter, Dr. Beverly J. Spray; brother, Scott Buddenberg; and grandson, Curry Spray. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, 10 a.m., at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock. A visitation will be held one-hour prior to services.
