Carl Chapman

Carl James Chapman, Jr., age 60, of Austin, Ark., Went to be with the Lord Friday, May 13, 2022. Carl was born on October 14, 1961 in Plumerville Ark., to Carl James and Deloris Sue Chapman. Carl owned Chapmans Fence Company and worked for the United States Postal Service as a rural mail carrier. Carl is survived by his wife, Jeana Chaman of Austin; one daughter: Amanda Chapman of Sherwood; two grandchildren: Haven Johnson of Texarkana, Texas, and Haley Cleveland of Sherwood; two sisters: Sandra Harris of Austin, and Tina Chapman of Cabot; one brother: Rickey Chapman of Plumerville, and several nieces and nephews, whom he loved very much. Carl was preceded in death by his parents; and two infant children: Josie and Robert; and one brother: Ramey Chapman. Carl was the rock of his family and loved them all very much. He had a huge heart, his love and laughter will be truly missed. Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 17, at 2 p.m. at Smith-Westbrook Chapel, with burial in Sixteenth Section Cemetery.
