Louis E. Tappin Sr.

LOUIS E. TAPPIN, SR., 83, of Jacksonville, Ark., departed this life May 9, 2022. He is preceded in death by his wife, Essie V. Tappin; parents, Ezekiel Tappin and Pearlean Tappin. He leaves to cherish his memory: children, Linda (Thomas) Young of Jacksonville, Shelia Hollaway of Grand Prairie, Texas, Hugh Jackson of Fort Worth, Texas, and Terri Jackson of Jacksonville, Ark.; siblings, Norman (Lou) Tappin, Billy Tappin, Lavern Tappin, Vivian (Arthur) Lambert, Kay Ridgewater; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
