Roberta Pauline "Bobbie" Plant, age 76, of Springdale, died Thursday, May 12, 2022 at her home. She was born July 19, 1945 in Fayetteville to Robert Paul and Lila Louise (Buell) Mason. Bobbie was devoted to her family and especially enjoyed cooking for them. She was a fan of the PBR rodeo, going to the theater, and volunteered for several years at the Arts Center of the Ozarks. One of her life's highlights was living in and touring Germany and Italy. Each Memorial Day it was important to her to honor her family and its history by visiting and decorating their grave sites. She had worked in accounting for Tyson Foods and she then worked for her brother Sam's CPA practice for 32 years before retiring. The most important thing to Bobbie was her faith and relationship with Christ Jesus. She was a member of Cross Church Springdale. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Pearson and husband Bruce; one brother, Sam Mason and wife Melinda; one sister, Janice Bowen and husband Randy; four grandchildren: Trevor Pearson, Breana Pearson, PFC Avalon Pearson, Timothy Pearson; and other relatives and friends, including her three dearest friends of 70 years. A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, in the Cross Church Chapel, Springdale. Interment will be at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers.
