Christopher Kevin Lott, beloved son of Vernon and Shirley Lott, Springdale, Ark., passed into eternal life on May 15, 2022. Born on March 7, 1967, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, number eight of nine children, he was also a beloved brother. He lived life fully, faithfully, generously, and joyfully. Christopher attended Catholic school throughout his youth graduating from Damien High School, La Verne, California. He went on to earn his bachelor's and master's degrees from California Polytechnic University in Pomona. During these years he began to establish his reputation as a negotiator. Chris succeeded in many aspects of life, working in marketing and sales for Dun & Bradstreet, Loder-Drew, PWC, and KPMG while residing in California. More recently, he moved to Arkansas to spend more time with his parents and one of his siblings and was working at API leading the Walmart account in Bentonville. In all of these and other work efforts, Chris was most happy engaging his fellow employees through mentoring, encouraging, laughing, and loving. He knew what was important in life. Chris was a world traveler, much like his parents, however his real joy was spending time vacationing with family and friends. Traveling to multiple European countries including Ireland, England, Italy, France and Germany, cruising to Alaska, the Caribbean, Mexico and Hawaii, Chris invited and treated many to enjoy these destinations with him. A competitive nature lived inside and inspired him to "be the best" in all activities. Chris played volleyball, tennis, ping pong, pickleball and bocce ball as well as many board games including anyone and everyone to join the fun. A natural leader, Chris invested his time and self generously doing for others. He led water aerobics at his neighborhood pool, traveled to Maryknoll Sisters annually to assist with special events, taught CCD, supported brothers and sisters financially, assisted nieces and nephews with school projects, helped at the church food pantry, and provided insight, encouragement, advice and humor to a multitude of friends, co-workers and neighbors. One of his most treasured activities was gardening, especially flowers. He tended gardens at his parents, sister's, and his home, recently earning a wonderful recognition by community members earlier in 2022 for the beautiful flowers surrounding these homes. Chris sent flowers to many for all occasions including as daily reminders of his love for all persons. Words that might best describe Christopher include: joy, selfless, generous, faithful, competitive, kind, compassionate and incredibly funny and goofy. His smile exuberated his love. Everyone was the "most important person" in Christopher's life. A giver to the end, he is an organ donor. Chris is survived by his eight brothers and sisters, including: Anastasia (Maryknoll Sister), Patrick (spouse Kim), Damien (spouse Mary Ellen), Bridget (partner Amy), Rebecca (partner Warren), Gretchen (spouse Joe Romano), Catherine (spouse Ronald Heath), and Jordan (partner Caroline). He is also survived by his fifteen nieces and nephews and a great-niece and nephew. Christopher passed from this world due to a heart attack. Preceded in death by his beloved parents, Vernon and Shirley Lott, we believe he died of a broken heart. In lieu of flowers, his family asks you to please consider donating to Maryknoll Sisters: P.O.
