Diane Chaney, passed away on May 21, 2022, after a brave and fierce battle with breast cancer. She fought it with such courage and was always positive and hopeful for a cure to the very end. Diane was born on October 3, 1960. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martha and Ernest Chaney. She is survived by her wife, Janet Hill, sisters, Cindy Case and Nancy Chairo and her brother, Ernie. Step-children, Jennifer Campbell (Richard) and Jay Hill (Marissa), grandson, Gage Campbell, nieces, Cheryl Bradshaw (Mark), Natalie Peyton (Gabe), Amy Meeker (Dustin), nephews, Alex and Austin Chaney. Great-nieces and nephews, RJ, Lexi, Taylor, Caylee, and Max. She leaves behind many, many, many family members and friends who will greatly miss her. Diane worked for the State of Arkansas, Stephens, Inc. and Arkansas Children's before retirement. Her favorite passion was fishing, (whether or not any were caught!), tinkering in the yard, vacations to the beach and lake with family and friends. Diane had such a big personality that drew people (and animals) to her. She never met a stranger and stray animals seemed to always ‘follow her home.' She had a great sense of humor and managed to be positive about life, even through her battle. Diane would do anything for anyone when needed. She loved playing with and mentoring her younger nieces', nephews, their kids, Gage and the Stewart kids. She is deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She possessed a kind and loving heart in the face any challenges.
