Carol Lynn Chappell, age 70, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022. She was born on December 27, 1951, in Memphis, Tenn., to Norma Hestir and Murel James Chappell. Carol attended Baylor University before joining the United States Postal Service. She enjoyed traveling the country, especially to Hot Springs and Tunica. Carol spent her time watching Star Trek, tracking Genealogy, and loving her beloved cats. She was involved with Master Gardeners and Meals on Wheels.
Carol was preceded in death by mother, Norma Chappell.
She is survived by father, James Chappell; sister, Mary (David) Taylor; nieces, Lauren (Michael) Taylor, Lindsay (Mike) Fleisher; great-nephews, Matthew Fleisher and Samuel Fleisher.
The family will have a private graveside service at Sylvania Cemetery. The family request memorials be made to Meals on Wheels; Arkansas Children's Hospital, or any charity for cats. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501) 313-5431. www.cremationservicesofarkansas.com
