Nancy Green Taylor

Nancy Green Taylor, age 82, of Fordyce, passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. She was born September 23, 1939, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to James Webster Green and Ida Maxine Bass Green. Her parents and her husband of 40 years, James Samuel Taylor Jr. preceded her in death. She graduated from Benton High School in 1957, and then earned a four-year degree in Business from the University of Arkansas Little Rock. She was the Secretary/Treasurer of the Dallas County Fair Board for over 10 years. Ms. Taylor is survived by her son, James Andrew Taylor and his wife Kami Garner Taylor; granddaughter, Parker Grace Taylor. Ms. Taylor requested that there be no funeral. There will be a private burial at Tanyard Cemetery in Fordyce, Ark., at a later date. Memorials can be made to Tanyard Cemetery Association C/O Jean Frazier, 508 Estes Road, Fordyce, Ark., 71742.
