Leslie Carrol Noble

Mr. Leslie Carrol Noble, 86, of Hot Springs, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2022. Born Oct. 11, 1935, son of M. L. Noble and Ila (Bull) Noble of Hamburg, Ark. He was married to the late Martha Kate Franklin Noble for more than 65 years until her passing in 2020. He grew up in Hamburg (Class of 1953), graduated from Arkansas A&M and UA-Fayetteville with a M. Ed. in 1960. He began teaching and coaching in Pine Bluff before a 42 yr. career in sales and management with World Book Encyclopedia. He was a National Sales Manager based in Chicago, Dallas, and Kansas City. He was a Christian and a member of Trinity Church. He was a fan and supporter of local high school teams and the Razorbacks. One of his favorite things was meeting over 30 famous people including President Bill Clinton and Muhammad Ali. He is survived by his sister, Sarah Jane (Noble) Newton; son, Mark Noble (Patty); daughter, Jan Martin (Lorne); three grandchildren: Amber Noble-Byrd (Sean), Caroline Martin, Spencer Martin; and two great-granddaughters: Reagan Noble-Pruitt and Presley Bryson. The family will have a private ceremony at his request. He wants those he knew and those who read this to know: "It Is Well With My Soul".
