Leif "Eric" Nilsson, age 80, of Bella Vista, Ark., died on October 31, 2022, at his home. He was born on August 13, 1942, in Savannah, Ga., to Sefo and Eileen Nilsson. Eric married Alicia Alexander on August 17, 1968, in Oklahoma City, Okla. He was a United States Navy veteran, serving three tours on the ground in Vietnam. Eric worked as an electronics technician for the Naval Space Surveillance Station in Georgia. His favorite hobby was spending time transmitting with his ham radio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sefo and Eileen Nilsson; and sister, Nita Armstrong.
Eric is survived by his wife, Alicia Nilsson; son, Alan Nilsson of Bella Vista; daughter, Jenna Hall and husband Vernon of Bella Vista; two grandchildren, Caden Hall and Jackson Hall; brother, Neil Nilsson and wife Donna of Brunswick, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
