Linda Baker, 70, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away on November 2, 2022. Linda was born on September 23, 1952 to the late Elvin Baker and Ozie Cleaver.
Linda graduated from college with a Bachelor's degree in accounting and passed the requirements to be a certified accountant. In college she was a member of Pi Beta Phi. She was also a member of the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Democratic Party, and the Women's Movement. She also served as the Finance Director of Hot Springs until retirement.
In Linda's spare time she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, gambling, supporting women's rights, and supporting her home team the Razorbacks. Linda was a wonderful woman that will be truly missed by so many.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jenny Webb; niece, Suzie Webb; and many of her fur babies.
She is survived by her brother, Steve Baker (Kathy); sister, Lois Bryant (Randy),; sister, Becky Green; great-niece, Anna Baker; special nephew, Jeff Bryant; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Linda also leaves her beloved fur babies, JJ and Atticus.
A visitation will be held at Gross Funeral Home on Monday November 7, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. there will be a memorial service held the following day on Tuesday November 8, 2022, at 2 p.m. Guests may register at www.GrossFuneralHome.com
