Edmond A. Morehart, 78, went to his heavenly home on, November 6, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gorden and Letha Morehart. After graduation from high school, he joined the Arkansas Air National Guard. When his obligation was completed, he committed to finishing college and graduated from now UCA with a Bachelor of Business Administration. His career eventually led to his retirement as Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer at Staley, Inc. While there he was able to resurrect his love of flying by achieving many levels of licenses and flying the company's planes around to their various offices. Favorite pastimes during his life were fishing, hunting, golfing and playing guitar. He spent many adventures and enjoyable years RVing with friends who formed the GMS RV Club. Their motto was "My Way Is the Highway". Ed was a member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church where he served as chairman of the Finance Committee and Trustees. He also taught the Jubilee Sunday School Class for over 20 years. He sang tenor in the choir and was instrumental in forming the Gardner Quartet, a Southern Gospel group, where he loved reaching for the high notes. Watch out Heavenly Choir-here comes Ed! Ed is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eileen Morehart; son, Michael Morehart (Missy) of Little Rock; grandson, Jacob Morehart (Brooks) of Lonoke and brother, Robert Morehart and family. Remembrance service will be Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 2 p.m., at Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church, 1723 Schaer, North Little Rock, Ark. Visitation will precede in the Fellowship Hall at 1 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Edgewood Cemetery in North Little Rock.
