Glenn Hazel Marty, 89, was born in Camden, Ark., on Friday, January 27, 1933. She grew up in Plainfield, N.J., then moved back t, Ark.nsas in 1970. Glenn passed away Friday, November 25, 2022, in Little Rock, Ark. She is survived by her sister, Doris Tunison of Bath, Pa.; six children, Donna (Tony) Perrin of Mountain Home, Ark., Danny (Dua) Marty of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Doris (Mark) Forte of Magnolia, Ark., Diana Marty of Little Rock, Ark., Douglas (Heidi) Marty of Chelsea, Ala., and David (Tina) Marty of Hampton, Ark.; 10 grandchildren, Lori Roberson, Jennifer Grissom, Dylan (Katie Jo) Marty, Shelby Marty, Daniel (Kyra) Forte, Katie Carnes, Lauren Marty, Jessica Marty, John Marty; and 11 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Opal and Lawrence Marlar; husband, H.J. Marty; brother-in-law Bob Tunison; and first-born grandchild, Chris Pearson. Glenn was well-known for her love of animals and always had a myriad of pets. She enjoyed traveling, liked meeting new people, loved hosting and entertaining, and was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. Glenn kept in close contact with family members on a regular basis, and was very intentional about planning the next get-together, whether that be a holiday gathering, family reunion for the extended family, or a camping trip for kids and grands. She was creative and generous and frequently used her talents and skills such as cooking, sewing, quilting, and doll-making to make gifts for others. Glenn, known as "Ma" to her kids and grandkids, will be sorely missed and fondly remembered. The family would like to thank Hospice LR, all those who cared for mom , with special gratitude for Qiana of Hospice Home Care, and those who have expressed condolences for the many prayers offered, and the kindnesses shown.
