Beverly Anne Sanders Phillips Charleton, 76, of Springdale passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2022, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. She was born March 5, 1946, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Raymond Robert Sanders and Bobby Dora Homeyer Sanders and later moved to Springdale and attended Springdale Schools until graduation in 1964 and then attended Arkansas Tech. She married Phil Phillips in 1966 and enjoyed her life as a coach's wife in each place she lived. They welcomed their only child together, Brooke, on June 17, 1969. They moved back to Springdale in 1973, where she would spend the rest of her life. She was always proud of Springdale where she served her community in every aspect of her life, through her multiple club affiliations, her volunteer work and her church, First United Methodist Church, where she was a founding member of the original Bread of Life Team as well as a Stephen Minister Leader. One of the most special things about Beverly was her generosity and being a truly dependable trustworthy friend, she had a servant's heart and was a shining example of integrity and class. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Bobby Sanders. Survivors include her daughter, Brooke Lindsey and husband John David; six grandchildren, Jorja, Jessi, Jinjer and Joslin Johnston, and Loren and Drake Lindsey; and her most special friend, Jim Rollins and family. Memorial services will be Monday, October 3, 2022, at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Springdale with Pastor Andrew Thompson officiating. Private burial services were at Bluff Cemetery.
