Charolette Elizabeth Smith

Charolette Elizabeth Smith, 48, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away on September 26, 2022. Charolette was born on April 23, 1974, in Fayetteville, the daughter of Truman "Tru" Smith and Jessie Lynn Galloway Smith. She was preceded in death by her father, Tru Smith; her mother, Jessie Lynn Smith; and her sister, Melanie Lynn Smith. Charolette passed peacefully with loved ones by her side. She is survived by her aunt, Harriett Galloway of Little Rock; uncle, Ray Smith, and wife Marilyn, of Fayetteville. She is also survived by numerous other Smith and Galloway cousins. Though Charolette suffered from a traumatic brain injury for the last 22 years of her life, she was lovingly cared for by her mother, Lynn, as well as many dedicated home health care specialists. In her earlier years, Charolette was full of life, energy, and fun. She was a cheerleader and an accomplished gymnast who loved teaching gymnastics to children. She enjoyed riding horses and spending time at their family stable with their Arabian horse, Korabi. She loved her family, and her family was devoted to her. A joint memorial service for Lynn and Charolette will be held Saturday, October 8 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Central United Methodist Church of Fayetteville. Interment at Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fayetteville, with services provided by Nelson-Berna Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
