Harley Davidson Smith passed away September 21, 2022 at his home in Cleveland, Ark. He was born in Little Rock, Ark., on October 1, 1972. Harley enjoyed watching movies and listening to rock and roll and heavy metal music. He was the ultimate movie buff, and could answer any of the customer's questions about a movie they had while he was an employee of RAO Video in Little Rock Harley is preceded in death by his father, Grover "Smitty" Howard Smith; grandparents, Bill Roy & Mary Francis Smith, Robert Abraham & Lois Olean Oliver; his uncle, Johnny Mack "Big Time" Oliver; and his aunt, Dotty Oliver. Harley is survived by his mother, Phyillis Carr; stepfather, John Dale Carr; aunts, Nina Oliver and Ruth Oliver; uncles, Roger Oliver and Bobby Oliver. A Note from Mom: I was the luckiest mother in the world. I got to share my son's life; the joy when he smiled and his ears wiggled, as well as the many heartbreaks, for 50 years. His loss has left my heart shattered and a void in my life that nothing can fill. Hoping that something positive can come from his death, I encourage everyone who reads this to open their minds and their hearts to persons with profound mental illness. Show them that they are worthy of love like anyone else is. Look out for them. Be their protectors. You will be rewarded with a very special kind of love. Peace and love to you. Service arrangements will be announced at a later date. Service and arrangements are by Neal's Rosewood Funerals & Cremations, 1715 E. Harding St. Morrilton, Ark., 72110. www.rosewoodcremation.com.
