Michael Richard Munson

Michael Richard Munson, 66, of Searcy, passed away on October 6, 2022 at Unity Health in Searcy. He was born on August 5, 1956 in Jacksonville. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Mary Lou Munson, and a sister, Ruth Ellen. Survivors include his sister, Patti Munson of Searcy; and two cousins, Sharon Cook and Cindy Brewer, both of Jacksonville. Michael was a quiet, loving, and generous man, a devoted son and brother. He became a Christian as a child and demonstrated the calm compassion of Jesus in his treatment of others. He loved computers, the Razorbacks, and the arts. He funded the children's music programs, providing schools with instruments so that children could experience the joy of music. He valued the Arkansas Baptist Children's Homes and the Special Olympics for the support they provide to children. He was respected by his co-workers for this dedication and work ethic.
