Beulah Faye Parrett

Beulah "Faye" Parrett, 89, of Rogers, Ark., passed away on October 6, 2022. She was born May 17, 1933, in Sullivan County, Mo., to Ira Earl Snelling and Mildred Marie Webb Snelling. Faye married James Lavern Dockery in 1949, and they had two daughters, Linda Sue and Doris Jean. That marriage ended in divorce, and in 1966, Faye married John "Jay" Clifford Parrett. Jay and Faye celebrated 54 years of marriage before his death on January 15, 2021. Faye was preceded in death by her parents and younger brother Gene Snelling. Faye was a successful businesswoman in Kansas City where she owned and operated three hair salons. After retirement, Jay and Faye split their time between homes in Bentonville, Ark., and Mesa, Ariz. They had a happy and active lifestyle, enjoying boating on Beaver Lake near Eureka Springs, AR and traveling around the country in their motor home. They also enjoyed riding around on their motorcycles. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Sylvester and husband Scott of Bentonville, Ark., and Doris Breitenstein and her husband Russell of Vinemont, Ala. She is also survived by her sister Mildred Ilene Wood of Chillicothe, Mo., her nephew Eddy Bowe and niece Sonja Roney. No services are planned.
