THOMAS LEE ALLEN passed away September 28, 2022 at the age of 91. He was born September 3, 1931 in Little Rock, Ark., to Omer and Lyda Allen. He is survived by his son, Tom Allen (Terri); his daughter, Lue Ann Shoptaugh (Ed); his grandchildren, Lauren (P.J.), Daniel, Katie (Kyle); and his great-granddaughter, Kinley. He was preceded in death by Luella Cockerham Allen.
After graduating high school in North Little Rock, he entered active duty Air Force where he served as a staff sergeant and crew chief on a B36 bomber during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged to attend the University of Arkansas where he graduated with a Business degree. Tom was a General Contractor and Real Estate developer in Little Rock. He was a Life Director in the Greater Little Rock Homebuilders Association.
He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, being on the lake and Razorback and Pulaski Academy football games. He attended Pulaski Academy football games until the age of 89. Tom built the Pulaski Academy home team bleachers in the 1970s. He was a member of Fellowship Bible Church.
