Tommie Lea Ball, 84, of Springdale, Ark., passed away October 6, 2022. She was born in Urbanette, Ark., to Walter and Waltza Harveston Fanning. Tommie was a very active person, worked for many years for Walmart and was a member of the Johnson Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking and socializing with her many friends and family.
Tommie is proceeded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Ball; sisters, Jean McCarty, Doris Downum and Daisy Laningham; daughter-in-law, Kathy Ball Graham; and a grandson Justin Ball.
Tommie is survived by three sons, Jerry (Sharon) Ball, Larry Dale (Melinda) Ball, Kelly (DeDe) Ball; five grandchildren, Chris Ball, Jerry Don Ball, Angela (Matt) Wood, Jason Ball, Sheena Ball; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Dean Fanning and Bobby (Pauline) Fanning; sisters, Sue Moore and Ann Barrett; brothers-in-law, Bill (Leona) Ball and Milton (Brenda) Ball; sisters-in-law, Shirley (Roger) Gross and Sue Ball; daughter-in-law, Kerry (Don) Phillips; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2022 Westfield Chapel Funeral Home.
