Thomas A. Winfree

Thomas A. Winfree,77, of Mabelvale, Ark., passed away October 11, 2022. Thomas was born to James Xenia Winfree and Kate Alma Winfree in Little Rock, Ark., on May 8, 1945. Thomas was a member of Christ is the Answer Fellowship, when he wasn't attending church you could find him reading or studying up to tell you some history facts or cheering on any and all football teams. Thomas is survived by his wife of 56 years, Christine Winfree; daughter, Ronetta Walters; grandchildren, Taylor Kirkpatrick (Camry), Hunter Kirkpatrick (Chasity), Gabriel Kirkpatrick; as well as bonus granddaughter, Ashley Burnett; and great-granddaughter arriving in February, Mia Grace; one brother; Bob Winfree. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Martha Lou Withers and Alma Bernice Whitlow. The family would like to express a special thank you to the fifth floor staff at Saline Memorial Hospital and Kindred Hospice for taking exceptional care of Thomas Winfree. Visitation will take place Friday, October 14, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. at Pinecrest Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 12 p.m. at Pinecrest Funeral Home, 7401 Hwy. 5 N, Alexander, Ark., 72002. Burial will take place at Glover Cemetery in Lonoke, Ark.
