Adelaide Chudy Drotar, 94, of Slovak was carried away by a band of angels to her heavenly home on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022 at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock. She was born on July 21, 1928 to Vandeline and Julia Oslica Chudy who immigrated from Czechoslovakia. Her parents both died when she was in her teens. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Slovak with visitation on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022 beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., with Fr. Philip Reaves officiating. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bobby" Drotar as well as four children: Monica, Terry, Karen and Carmen; an infant grandson, Steven; grandson, Shay; three brothers, Frank, Ed, Wendel, and Connie Chudy; and a sister, Evelyn. She is survived her daughter, Paula Coburn of Des Arc and a son, John Drotar and wife, Pam of Slovak; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchilden and a special niece, Patricia Hager of Hermitage, Tenn. Adelaide was a member of St. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Slovak and the Altar Society. Pallbearers are her three grandchildren, Kyle Griffin, Jason Rymer, Blaine Drotar and Frankie, Marty, and Luke Lisko. Online obituary at www.westbrookfunerlahomehazen.com.
