Gregory Paul Moldenhauer, age 71, of Fayetteville, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 13, 2022. He was born March 5, 1951, in San Diego, Calif., to Adelbert Moldenhauer and Frances Watson Moldenhauer. As a child whose father was in the navy, he grew up in California, Massachusetts, the Philippines, and Germany. He graduated from Frankfurt High School in Germany in 1969. He attended the University of Arkansas where he met his wife, Margie. He graduated with a B.S.B.A in Accounting in 1974. He was President of National Financial Services, Inc., and was the bookkeeper for RE/MAX Associates in Fayetteville, Ark. He was a loving husband, father, doting grandfather and loyal friend. He was so proud of his children and grandchildren. In the past few years, he especially loved spending time with his granddaughter Anna who lived next door and called him "Baba". He was a gentle and sweet man who loved animals, cars and construction. If you had a project – he'd take it on. He radiated kindness to everyone he met and would drop everything to be there for someone in need. His warm smile, sense of humor and generosity will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Margie; his daughter, Keri Moldenhauer Bruce and her husband Matthew of Darien, Conn.; two sons, Eric Moldenhauer and his wife Christina of San Antonio, Texas, and Tim Moldenhauer and his wife Katie of Fayetteville; one sister, Cindy Moldenhauer Sellitto of Honolulu, Hawaii; two brothers, Charles Moldenhauer of San Antonio, Texas, and Mark Moldenhauer of Burnet, Texas; five grandchildren, Thatcher Bruce, Aiden Bruce, Evan Moldenhauer, Lucia Moldenhauer and Anna Moldenhauer. He was preceded in death by his parents, whom he loved dearly. He took care of his mother until she passed away in 2018. The Memorial services will be private.
