Dee Wayne Carter, 79, of Alexander, Ark., passed away on October 17, 2022, at his home.
Wayne was born in Little Rock, Ark., to the late Don Wallace and Rheudine Carter on November 20, 1942. He was proud to serve his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed lifting weights and riding his Harley Davidson.
Wayne is survived by his daughters, Sonya Goforth (David) and Tonya Miliam (Eddie) both from Benton; brothers, Gaston Carter (Katherine), David Carter (Linda) of Hot Springs, and Gary Carter (Sharon); sisters, Leta Carter, Donna Miller (Tom), and Billie Harden; grandchildren Darlene Scott, Brandy Rogers, Samantha Carter, Brittany Powell (Danny), and David Dove (Amanda); great-grandchildren, Nora Powell, Brooks Powell, Avery Dove, and Henley Dove.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Darrell Wayne Carter; and sister, Mary Carter.
