Larry Foster, 61, of Benton, was tragically taken from us on October 17, 2022. Larry was a loving and devoted husband, father, Pawpaw and friend. He was a kind, gentle soul who never met a stranger. Larry was born on February 22, 1961, to Darrell and Barbara Garner Foster. He graduated from Harmony Grove High School in Camden, Ark., in 1979. Larry was a hightly-respected and dedicated employee at PPG Industries in Alexander, Ark. In 2003, Larry was happily married to Dalenda Foster, who was his best friend and partner. Larry and Dalenda were looking forward to celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary this spring on an Alaskan cruise. Larry was known as N5LDF in his amateur ham held radio community. He spent many hours talking with people all over the world. Larry was the "master" at tinkering around the house on various projects. Larry loved his Goldwing Harley Davidson. He always had a good time riding his bike and going camping at Iron Mountain every year. Larry also had a passion for cars and still talked about his Camaro from his younger days. After he met Dalenda, he could be seen driving his sporty white Jeep that had the license plate on the front that read Dalenda's Baby. He was preceded in death by his parents. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Dalenda; three children, B.J. (Veronica) Foster, Misti Hartwick, and Joshua Loftin. He was Pawpaw to eight grandchildren, Alyssa Key, Ayanna Foster, Kyler, Brady and Lane Hartwick, Jyah Cooksey, Jaelyn and Jada Loftin, one great-grandchild, Jordan Cooksey, brother, Karl (Crystal) Foster. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 12 p.m., at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton.
