Janice Mary Harris, age 83, of Fayetteville, Ark., went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, October 22, 2022. She was born June 13, 1939, in Raymond, Wash., a daughter of the late Helge Holm and Mary Misten Holm. Also preceding her in death was her twin sister, Janet June Holm. Janice was a 53-year resident of Fayetteville, Ark. She was a long-time member of University Baptist Church and later Cross Church. She loved to travel with friends. She loved to shop with her kids and grandkids. Janice had impeccable style and never met a stranger. Over the years many considered her a second Mom. She retired from Real Estate after 20+ years with Lindsey & Associates, Inc.
Survivors are her children, Stephen Harris, Mary Harris, Jana-Wrenay Elkins (Chris Elkins), & Nathan Harris (Jody Harris); her grandchildren, Cash Crissup (Yosty Crissup), Annie Wrenay Meyer (Mitchell Meyer), Hayden Harris, Jackson Heck, Carlee Wrae Smith, Walker Heck, Bennett Elkins, Natalie Harris, Ella Elkins, Chance Heck, Mallory Harris, Nicholas Harris and Michael Harris.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, at Nelson Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Burial is in Fairview Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, at Nelson Berna. Memorial contributions are preferred to, The Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund, www.pdjf.org
