Dorothy Faye Perry

Dorothy Faye Perry, 96, slept quietly into eternal rest Tuesday, October 25, 2022. She was a Dunbar High School graduate and had retired from the V.A. Hospital as a nutrition specialist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Perry Jr.; her parents, Raspberry (Sr.) and Lula Holland; and all her siblings. She was much loved by her family and friends and leaves cherished memories with her children, Faye Perry-Russ, Patricia "Patsy" Jenkins, Michael Perry, and (twins) Cora Henderson and Lula Easterwood; and nine grandchildren. Perpetual care entrusted to Walton GateWay Funeral Chapel, Inc., "Where Caring and Quality Come First", 2405 S. Gaines Street-LR. Obsequies will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 3, at First Baptist Church-Highland Park (where she had been a lifelong member), 1701 S. Pine Street-LR.
