Arthur Dail Pearrow

Arthur Dail Pearrow passed away on his ranch the Rocking J in Charlotte, Texas on Sept. 27, 2022. He was born in Little Rock, Ark., on March 15, 1940, to the late Roy H. Pearrow Jr. and Lyda Belle Wilkerson Merck. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 44 years Patricia "PJ" Pearrow; son, Brian Scott Pearrow; brother, R.H. "Bud" Pearrow; stepfather, Fred Merck and stepmother, Ann Reynolds Pearrow. Art is survived by stepdaughter, Leah Stevens (Wes); grandson, Jared Stevens all of Poteet, Texas; brothers, Jon Pearrow (Sharon) of Timbo, Ark., Roy Glenn Pearrow of Lafayette, La.; sister-in-law, Carolyn Pearrow of Cabot, Ark.; step-siblings, Peggy Posey (Bobby) of Branson, Mo., Mitchell Reynolds (Marilyn) of Winnsboro, La.; Jimmy Reynolds (Barbara) of Calhoun, La. and numerous extended family and friends. Art graduated from Central High, class of 1958. He was a 3-year letterman for Wilson Matthew's Tigers. He worked as a news photographer for KATV Channel 7 in Little Rock, Ark., and was a Vietnam veteran who retired as a Major from the United States Air Force. After retirement he returned to Charlotte, Texas where he was the co-owner of a motorcycle testing company while raising beef master cattle. He was a member of the Cowboy Fellowship Church in Pleasanton, Texas, and a member of the VFW and American Legion. Private services will be held at a later date.
