Freeman Gerold Rodden, 94, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Monday, August 22, 2022. He was born in Bruley, Mo., to Roy and Whittle Rodden. Freeman is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, a sister, and two sons. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Dorothy Blalock Rodden; son, Tony Blalock; daughter, Sandy Wilkins; grandchildren, Andrew Wilkins and Ellen Proctor; and several great-grandchildren; son, Gary Rodden; and three daughters; brother, Glen Rodden; and three sisters: Joy Pitts, Sharon Powell, and Gayle Bailey.
Freeman was a WWII Veteran, serving in the South Pacific as a Rada Technician. He worked as a Boiler Operator for the University of Arkansas. Freeman loved the outdoors hunting, camping, fishing, and riding four-wheelers. He was a member of Centerton First Baptist Church.
