Winnie Dell Pierce Todd passed from this life September 7, 2022, at the age of 89. She was born to Jewell and Julia Pierce on January 10, 1933, in Carthage, Ark. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 52 years, Ed; sisters, Myrtis Nash, Mamie Cook, and Peggy Brewer; brothers, Curtis Pierce and Jimmy Pierce; and grandson, Greg Bolin. She is survived by her five daughters, Judy (Rick) Bolin of Kingsland, Linda (Phil) Wallace of Fordyce, Mitzi (Dewayne) Jordan of Fordyce, Terri Todd (and best friend Karen) of Maumelle, and Sheila (Lee) Stephens of Fordyce; eight grandchildren, Larry Hornaday, Erin (Mitch) Taylor, Stacie (James) Adair, Luke Hornaday, Scott (Andrea) Jordan, Jake Raney, Sean Stephens, and Devon Stephens; 13 great-grandchildren, Kaela Taylor, Kathryn Adair, Lindsey Hornaday, Ryan Hornaday, Reagan Hornaday, Lainey Jordan, Audrey Adair, Avery Hornaday, Jase Jordan, Abigail Adair, and Annsley Jordan; one great-great-granddaughter, Scarlett Nalitt; also one sister, Wanda Sue (David) Allen of Conway. She loved spending time with her family, her church, reading her Bible and non-fiction books, working the New York Times crossword puzzles, Jeopardy!, and the Razorbacks. She graduated Carthage High School, was a devoted housewife and homemaker, and a faithful member of Zion Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Zion Baptist Church north of Fordyce. Burial will follow at Mt.
