Regina Lynette Thornton

Regina Lynette Thornton, 46, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2022, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Regina was born on December 14, 1975, to Reginald Abernathy (predeceased) and Shirley Abernathy (predeceased) in Little Rock, Ark. Regina grew up in Little Rock, Ark., and graduated from Wilbur D. Mills High School in 1994. Her interests included family, cooking/baking, and reading. She was a devoted wife, mom, sister, cousin, and friend. Her smile would light up the room at any given moment. Regina married Myron Thornton Jr. on February 18, 1995. Regina will be dearly missed and always remembered. Regina is survived by her husband, Myron Thornton Jr.; her son, Davon Thornton (Chelsea); daughter, Akemi Thornton; her two grandchildren; Zariyah and Zayden; two sisters, Rochelle Hughes (John), Shayla Allen (Reginal); in-laws, Myron and Carol Thornton, Juanita Roberts, and April Thornton; three nephews; and three nieces; and a host of family and friends.
