Garth "Jeep" Martin

Garth "Jeep" Curran Martin, 86 of Pine Bluff, Ark., passed away September 14, 2022, surrounded by family. Jeep was born July 21, 1936, in Marshall, Texas, to Theron Earl and Janie Fleniken Martin. Jeep married the love of his life, Wadie Mae Wall, on August 6, 1959. Together they shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. Jeep was a faithful member of the Church of Christ, where he often led singing. He was also an avid Arkansas Razorback fan. He took pride in the many hog call championships that he won. Jeep was predeceased by his mother; his father; and brother, Jim. Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 63 years, Wadie Mae; his son, Jeff of Pine Bluff; and his granddaughter, Jessica Cowart (Paul) of Pine Bluff. He also leaves behind many brothers and sisters-in-law, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Highway 79 South Church of Christ at 4341 Camden Rd., Pine Bluff, Ark., on September 17 at 10 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. Flowers and memorials may be sent to the Highway 79 South Church of Christ.
