Bett Lou Schonert

BETTY LOU SCHONERT, age 94, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022. Betty was born July 22, 1928 in Morrilton, Ark., to John and Gertrude Prince. Betty is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Charles Schonert; and her son, David Schonert. Betty is survived by her daughter, Carole Moore and husband, Philip, of Fayetteville, Ark., son, Terry Schonert and wife, Katie, of Litchfield Park, Ariz.; her grandchildren, Rebecca, Philip, Kathleen, and John; and a host of nieces and nephews. Betty lived in El Dorado for over 40 years until Charlie died in 2008. She then moved to Little Rock to be near her son, David. Betty always enjoyed quilting, reading, and puzzling. She remained sharp until the end and was a source of kindness and inspiration for all that knew her. Betty was accepting, loving, and comforting throughout her life. She was a warm blanket on a cold night. Graveside services will be held at Edgewood Memorial Park in North Little Rock on Tuesday, September 20th at 10 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church Building Fund.
