Wincie Elizabeth "Liz" Hendricks Esch departed this life on September 17, 2022, in Fayetteville. She was born to Jerry P. Hendricks and Wincie Buckner Hendricks on July 12, 1969, in Fort Smith. She graduated from University of the Ozarks in 1993. From 2004 to 2019 she found her love for nonprofits and impacting the NWA community while working at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks. She was the Garden's first and only employee during the first three years of her tenure. Liz initiated many events that continue to this day. She then worked with various nonprofits over the years, most recently with Community Creative Center. She was more importantly a mother, sister, and best friend to all. She really knew how to spread love and kindness. She was passionate about her community in Fayetteville. Liz was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children, Caroline Esch (Matt) of Conway, and Dylan Esch (Sarah) of Bentonville, as well as her future granddaughter, Esmeralda Rose. She is also survived by her siblings, Andy Hendricks (Annie), Angie Upchurch (Greg), and Julie Stec (David); and her loving nieces and nephews. The Rosary and visitation will be on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 5 pm at Moore's Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 10 a.m. There will be a celebratory reception to follow at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks. Burial will then be held at 3:30 pm at Calvary Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark.
