Ethel Lee Townsend, 90, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away on September 13, 2022. She was born on July 23, 1932, to the late Edward Towns and Edith Davis Towns Hicks.
She leaves to cherish her memories: 10 daughters, Lynda Cornell (Martin), Carol Townsend, Gwendolyn Purvis of Flint, Mich., Herrin Faye Sullivan (Jerry), Marcia Townsend, Rochelle Wiliams (Otis), Roxie Townsend Sims of Georgia, Brenda Townsend, Ann Smith, and Gail Townsend; two sons, Frederick Townsend, and Dwight Townsend (Glomicha).
A walk-through visitation will be held Friday, September 23, 2022, from 1-5 p.m. Family hour will be held 5-6 p.m. at Gunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 12 noon at Longley Baptist Church 9900 Geyer Springs Rd. Professional services entrusted to Gunn Funeral Home of Little Rock.
