Olga Jean Black Fluker

of Little Rock, AR, 1922 - 2022

Olga Jean Black Fluker transitioned this life Saturday, September 17, 2022.
Jean graduated from Tennessee State University (TSU) and pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in l955. She worked in Los Angeles in her early years with the Girl Scouts in l964 where she met and married John Fluker. Jean was a dedicated and active member of Wesley United Methodist Church, and worked as a social worker and counselor in Little Rock until her retirement.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Dr. John Fluker; three sons, Darryl (Dierdre) Fluker of Atlanta, Ga., Victor (Dana) Fluker of Little Rock, Ark., Micheal (Kim) Terrell, McDonough, Ga.; three grandchildren, Gabrielle Fluker, Matthew Fluker, and Brianna Terrell; one sister, Willa Black Sanders (Troy); three brothers, Pickens W. Black III (Barbara), Fredrick Black Martell, and Joseph Black; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services 11 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2022, Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 1109 South State Street, Little Rock, Ark. 72202. Family hour Friday, September 23, 2022, 6-8 p.m., Greater Second Baptist Church, 5615 Geyer Springs Road, Little Rock, Ark. 72209. Masks must be worn.
