LLOYD DONALD LEWIS, 91, passed away peacefully at home on September 25, 2022, in North Little Rock, Ark. He was born September 11, 1931, in Clinton, Ark., the son of Toney and Katie (McCue) Lewis. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1949. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1951-1954, and was a veteran of the Korean War. He then attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and graduated in 1957. He became a Certified Public Accountant and worked in both public and private accounting for over 40 years. He was a member of the 47th Street Baptist Church for over 60 years, and served as a deacon for over 30 years. He was a St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and loved watching old Western movies. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 62 years, Lela Louise Kirkendoll Lewis; four brothers, Cecil, Walter, Warren, and Dewey Lewis; and three sisters, Helen Lewis Treadway, Jewell Lewis Tomlinson, and Edith Ann Lewis. He was much loved and leaves to cherish his memory his two sons, Don Lewis (Julie), Kenny Lewis; grandchildren, Derek Lewis, Rachel Lewis Cotroneo (Jon), Kasey Lewis, Cody Lewis; and two great-grandchildren, Ella Lewis and Liam Lewis. A general visitation will be held Wednesday, September 28, from 8-5 p.m. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Little Rock.
