Patricia Ann Plaster, 69, of Wasola, Mo.; passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Willard Walker Hospice Home, at Fayetteville. She was born Tuesday, May 19, 1953, at Weathers, to Ira Randolph and Lillie Rose Fields Eaton. Pat was a trailblazer in many regards. She joined the Army when women were first allowed to complete basic training, but later settled on a career in banking, and served as a commercial loan officer at a time when there were few women in the field. She was employed by several banks in Arkansas and Texas. During her 40-year banking career, she worked with many people, and many of her customers and co-workers became lifelong friends. Pat adopted her daughter, Lillie, from China, and raised her as a single mother. Of all the things Pat did in her life, she found the most joy in her role as mother to Lillie and grandmother to Presley. After she retired, Pat married Glen Plaster of Wasola, Mo.; and moved to his ranch where she lived happily until her death. Pat loved traveling, gardening, DIY projects, and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Presley. She was a longtime member of the Christian Life Cathedral in Fayetteville, Ark. Pat was an amazing woman who loved to "take a different route" whether it was in life or adventure. Pat was preceded in death by four brothers, Rayburn Eaton, Arvis Eaton, Gary Eaton, and Roy Dale Eaton, and one sister, Nell Sloan. She is survived by her husband, Glenn Plaster of Wasola, Mo., one daughter, Lillie Grace Eaton Johnston (Dakota Johnston); and one granddaughter, Presley Ann Johnston. Pat is also survived by one brother, Winfred Eaton of Wesley; and six sisters, Joyce Bunch (Joel), of Fayetteville; Sharon Carter, of Huntsville; Norma Marshall (Ed), of Wesley; Janice Torbett, of Fayetteville; Linda Baxter (Dale), of Sargent, Texas; and Sandra Bowman (Darle), of Fayetteville; several nieces and nephews, and her special friend, Amber Gassman. The family will receive friends 1-2 p.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m., with Rex Eaton officiating. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Craig Hysell, Jack Torbett, Brett Torbett, Ryan Lawson, Ransom Eaton, Andrew Brink and Vince Gassman. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Baxter, Darle Bowman, Joel Bunch, Ed Marshall, and Dakota Johnston. Interment will immediately follow services at Bohannan Mountain Cemetery.
