Sandra Sue (Shepler Dunnegan) Bugner passed away September 27, 2022, in Wichita, Kan., with her loving family surrounding her. She had been ill with cancer. Sandra was born October 22, 1937, in Wichita, Kan. She married the love of her life, Bill, on January 14, 1956, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Together they raised four children. Sandra worked for the Wichita School District while raising their children. She was a realtor and broker in Bella Vista, Ark., and volunteered thousands of hours for churches and hospitals. Sandy loved lake life, golf, gardening, and family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Bugner, mother, Cora (Shepler Dunnegan) Bazzle, father, Claude Dunnegan, brothers, Del Shepler, Harry Shepler, and Jack Shepler, sisters, Mary Butz, Frances Shepler, and Bessie Hall. She is survived in death by her children, Cindy Claycomb (Charlie), Kent Bugner, Trina Bauer (Mark), Randy Bugner, eight grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Rosary, 7 p.m., Monday, October 3; Funeral Mass, 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 4, both at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 132 S. Millwood, Wichita, Kan., 67213.
