Michael "Cain" Maxheimer, 39, of Alexander, Ark., was born to Michael Allen Maxheimer and Julia Ann Atkins, on Monday, August 20, 1984, in Little Rock, Ark. He left this world too soon on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, surrounded by love. Cain was an extraordinary young man who loved his job and was a dedicated law enforcement officer with Shannon Hills. He started as a cadet at Benton P.D., and from then, he worked at Bauxite P.D., the Saline County Sheriff's Office, Hot Springs Sheriff's Office, Johnson County Sheriff's Office, Alexander P.D., and then lastly, Shannon Hills P.D. His long history of law enforcement molded him into the man he became. He loved to spend his time gunsmithing, watching YouTube, but most of all, spending time with his daughters. He is preceded by his mother. Left to cherish his memories are his three loving daughters: Brooklyn Julia Diane Maxheimer, Dorothy Anlynn Maxheimer-Fain, and Julenda Marie Grace Maxheimer; girlfriend, Claudia Banda, of Benton; his father, Michael Maxheimer, and his wife, Rhonda Wallace; his sister, Nicole "Niki" Ballentine (Jason); with a host of other family, friends, and his law enforcement family, who all love him, supported him, and will miss him greatly. His visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home. On behalf of the family and community, we would like to thank Officer Michael "Cain" Maxheimer for all his hard work and dedication to the state of Arkansas.
