OSCAR EARL DAVIS, JR, age 82 of Little Rock passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023. He was born in Gulfport, Miss., to the late Oscar Earl Davis, Sr. and Maude Lee Shipp. He was a graduate from Auburn University in 1962 and in 1967, graduated from the Ole Miss School of Law. In June of 1970, Oscar joined Friday, Eldridge and Clark Law Firm in Little Rock where he worked for more than 40 years. In addition, Oscar was an avid golfer and was a huge Auburn Football fan.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sue Siever Davis; two sons, Oscar E. "Trey" Davis, III. (Laura) of Little Rock, Ark., and Jeffery L. Davis (Kathy) of Honolulu, Hawaii and two grandchildren, Jacob Davis and Sarah Romero (Anthony).
A private graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park. A memorial service will be 1 p.m., on Friday, February 3, 2023, and will be held in the Chapel at Immanuel Baptist Church with Pastor David Moore officiating. Family will receive friends following the service.
