Franklin Hansberry, 77, departed this earthly realm Friday, March 10, 2023, at UAMS after a lengthy illness. He was not one to be idle, so he had worked in many arenas, but mainly as a diesel mechanic in the trucking industry. He served honorably in the U.S. Army.
Left with precious memories are his son, Frank Williams-Hansberry; daughters, Sheila Seals (Nilon), Felicia and Frankie Hansberry, and Sharon Berrymon (Anthony); 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, John Lynn Hansberry, Jr.; sister, Margaret Brown (Nevil); and a very special niece, Betty Hansberry-Harrison.
Services entrusted to Walton GateWay Funeral Chapel, Inc., "Where Caring and Quality Come First". Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 25, at the funeral home, 2405 S. Gaines Street-LR, (501) 376-7188.
