Irene Hale, 99, of Mayflower, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023. She was born August 13, 1923 in North Little Rock to Stanley "Adam" and Mary Barron Walloch.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Glen Hale; son, Johnny Frederick; daughter, Janice Bates; grandchildren, Charlie Frederick and Christine Pickard; great-grandchild, Richard Pickard.
Irene is survived by two daughters: Frances Zolliecoffer (Mickey) of Alix, Ark., and Mary Plank, of Spiro, Okla.; son-in-law, Ricky Bates, of Mayflower, Ark.; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Frederick of El Paso, Ark.; grandchildren, Michael Zolliecoffer (Denise), Paul Zolliecoffer (Nicole), and David Zolliecoffer, all of Alix, Ark.; Cary Don Duvall, of Ft. Worth, Texas, Tammy DeMato (Danny) of Spiro, Okla., Melonay York (Eddy) of Mayflower, Ark., and Shannon Newman (Geremy) of Bryant, Ark.; fourteen great-grandchildren, thirteen great-great-grandchildren, nephew, Gary Walloch (Lynn) of Denver, Colo.; a host of friends and family; and her extended Elk Lodge family.
Burial will be at Little Rock National Cemetery at a later date.
