ANDREW L. HARPER SR., 80, transitioned to eternal rest, surrounded by family, on Monday, May 15, 2023.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife of almost 57 years, Shirley B Harper; daughter, Andrea Harper-Presley; son, Andrew Harper Jr. (Michelle); grandsons, Bryce Harper and Jared Presley; granddaughter, Jayla Presley; sisters, Barbara Harper-Street, Carolyn Harper-Caldwell; brother, Pete Harper, and a village of brother/sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tizy and Mary Catherine Harper; brothers, Leo Harper and Kenneth Harper.
He was a devoted husband, father, and papa who loved spending time with his family. He attended Arkansas Baptist College and was employed by Arkansas Best Freight for 35 years.
Funeral Service will be held tomorrow, Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 11 a.m.
Family hour/visitation is tonight, Friday, May 26, 2023, from 5-7 p.m. Both services will be held at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 1700 S. State Street, Little Rock, Ark.
