Jonathon Edward Davis, 41, of Lafayette Ga., passed away on April 30, 2023. He was born on November 26, 1981, in Jacksonville Ark., to E.L. Davis and Melissa Causey Echols. Jonathon graduated from Jonesboro High School in Jonesboro, Ark. in 2000, and later pursued a career in the IT and tech fields.
Jonathon is survived by his children, Elyas and Emerson; mother, Melissa Causey Echols (Ron); father, E.L. Davis (Kelly); grandmother, Janette Causey; sister, Kristy (Joel) Holt; stepsisters Heather Renken, Kristin (Darren) Kilman, Candace (Josh) Mitchell, Kathryn Echols and Angela (Brian) Self; stepbrother, Jonathan Echols; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Jonathon was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas F. Causey, grandparents, Buel and Tressie Davis, all of Jacksonville; and Robert Dugard, stepbrother.
A drop-in Celebration of Life is scheduled for May 27, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. at the Jacksonville Community Center, #5 Municipal Drive, Jacksonville.
